OUR MISSION
More than lessons.
A shared passion.
Founded by the City of Differdange in 2006, the School of Blues offers workshops led by professional musicians from the local and regional scene. It brings together people who share a passion for blues and want to develop their skills.
Each year, around 80 participants spend several months learning songs and playing together before taking to the stage at the Blues Express festival in July.
Our aim is to make music together and have fun while exploring the blues. The school supports newcomers to the genre, helps new bands emerge and gives experienced musicians opportunities to refine their skills.
